Hello! We are the SportRacers team. We are participating in the German championship this year, as we have become winners of the juniors at the Hamburg championship.
We are students of the Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Hamburg-Poppenbüttel and take part in the Formula 1 competition at the school with our Junior Team SportRacers.
Formula 1 at school is a multidisciplinary, international technology competition in which students between the ages of 11 and 19 develop a miniature Formula 1 racing car on the computer, manufacture it and then send it into the race. The aim is to use the fascination and global presence emanating from the "big" Formula 1 in order to create an exciting, exciting learning experience for young people, thereby improving their understanding and insight into the areas of product development, technology and science to show professional careers in technology. In regional competitions and national championships, the gas cartridges driven cars compete against each other on a 20m long race track. The winning teams represent their federal state at the German championship. The decisive factor is the team performance consisting of design, production, reaction time, vehicle speed, business plan and presentation.
